Multilingual mobile notary – a rare advantage

How a Mobile Notary Visit Works
Booking a traveling notary should be simple. Here’s exactly what happens from request to receipt.
1. Tell us what you need
Call (978) 424-4629, send us a message, or use the online booking form. Tell us the document type, the signer’s location (city or full address), the closing or signing deadline, and whether anything is unusual – multiple signers, witness needs, hospital bedside, language requirements. We respond within the hour during business hours.
2. We send a written quote & confirm the booking
You’ll get a flat-rate quote for the visit, an estimated arrival window, and a list of what to have ready (unsigned documents, valid IDs, witnesses). Mobile appointments aren’t dispatched until the booking is confirmed and payment information is on file.
3. We arrive on time
Hanson arrives at the agreed location, introduces himself, presents notary credentials if asked, and confirms the document and signer’s identity. For Boston and Cambridge appointments we typically plan an extra 15 minutes for parking; for hospital visits we coordinate directly with the floor or social-work team in advance.
4. Verify ID, witness, seal
The notary verifies the signer’s government-issued photo ID, confirms understanding of the document (without giving legal advice), administers any required oath, witnesses the signature, and applies the embossed/inked notarial seal and acknowledgment block. We log every signing in our notary journal as required by Massachusetts law.
5. You receive the original document
The completed notarized document is handed to you on the spot. We can email a scanned copy if useful – particularly helpful for closing attorneys who want a PDF in their file before the originals arrive by courier. Total visit time runs from 10 minutes for a single signature to about 45 minutes for a full mortgage signing.
